How to Add VTT to Video

Adding VTT subtitles to your video can enhance accessibility and viewer engagement. Here's how to do it using Descript.

2) Upload your video by dragging and dropping it into the project window. Descript will automatically begin transcribing your video.

3) After the transcription is complete, click on "Underlord." Type "Subtitles" into the search bar and select "Export Subtitles..."

4) Choose the export format under "Subtitles" to ensure it matches your needs.

5) Finally, verify that the subtitle file was exported correctly by checking that the file name ends with .vtt.

Note: VTT is a text format and cannot be converted to video formats like MP4 or MP3.
